KEAS MOV1 (2014)
Keas Mov 1 ceramic speakers is one of our favourite audio design projects!
Working with Damian Kim, we created a design strategy to redefine the charm of the analogue sensibility together with the warm touch of the ceramic material that is representative of the traditional Korean culture.
“Ceramictronics”
The MOV1 is crafted as a piece of audio homeware art that enhances the interior space and blends the audio technology seamlessly within.
The final result is a functional object of art that is a merger of technology with craft, modernity and tradition. As the recipient of the Red Dot Design Award, MOV1 is a big step into a new domain of exploring new audio acoustic materials.

From Art to Sound:
Future of homes are multi-purpose spaces that contain more arts and invisible technology.
It will be less cluttered where the source of content is blended into art and our favourite everyday objects.
Returning to purity is the new luxury:
Handcrafted with warmth and emotions, ceramics as a material replaces the hard and cold as the new status in audio acoustics.
“Combining the charm of analogue sensibility with the warm touch of ceramic!”
“A skilful blend of the opposites creates a revolutionary concept!”
